Hike

Mt Pugh, North Cascades, WA

It was a bit early to start venturing out into the mountains considering the long winters PNW was going through, but we were sick of staying indoors. Who wasn’t. Mt Pugh was on my list for a while so we headed out to the mountains with the first sunny weekend we got. I was pretty sure we wouldn’t be able to get to the top of the summit this time of the year but who cares, we’ll go again.

Olympic National Park, WA

Hiking in the Olympic National Park was one of the first agenda items for Summer 2017. Karan had already made plans to fly to Seattle while on his trip to US and Venky, too, applied for a few days of leave. This trail has a lot of other famous hikes like Defiance Mountain and Mason lake which we’re planning to cover this summer.

Pratt Lake

Me and Venky decided to this without much planning. The pics available online looked pretty good and the trail wasn’t too difficult. It was just long. Too long. Acutally, 12 mile doesn’t sound that bad but when its just dense forest for about 99 percent of the hike, boredom gets to you. Its a good way to just get lost in thought because, as I said, the trail is more of a stroll and there’s nothing much to see.

Mt Si Hike

Starting with this post, I’ll add not more than 3 pics of any trip I go on. I finally ended up doing this because – I hate posting stuff on facebook – I hate having albums with gazillion photos in them – I like to keep hard copies of some photos and the pics here will fall into that exclusive category – and most importantly, this will be EXACTLY what I want to keep a memory of …
